Greetings from Mito Japan,

This is the prefecture where Tomoko's family home is located. I am here to help her complete her immigration process procedures required by both the Japanese and American governments: health certificates, police reports, financial responsibility, proof of marriage to an American citizen, etc. etc. It is also an opportunity to meet her family for the first time... much more to write about that extraordinary encounter with the unusual customs of the culture. 9/6/2012 from memory.
