Tunis 2015: View from my 21st floor room in the Hotel Africa Tunis.

Tunis 2015: Fruit plate a receptionist in the Hotel Africa Tunis had sent up to my room after I discovered the walk-in rate I'd paid for my first night exceeded the Agoda offer by $50!.

Tunis 2015: Signs like this appear on tables throughout the lobby of the Hotel Africa Tunis. Actually, compared to Istanbul, there is somewhat less smoking anywhere in the city.

Tunis 2015:This is the the Bab El Baher (Gate to the Sea) a.k.a. Port de France Gate as seen from inside the Medina. The fountain in the foreground provides a pleasant ambiance for the large entry courtyard.

Greetings from Hammamet, Tunisia,

The main page for Tunis got too large, so this add on page will provide space for some of my Tunis photos, leaving more space for my stay in the tourist town of Hammamet some sixty kilometers south of Tunis. ...

Hammamet Tunisia: The Radisson Blu Hotel earned its five stars only last year I learned from one of the staff.

Hammamet Tunisia: This is the first thing I saw when entering my fourth floor room in the Radisson Blu Hotel where I stayed while in the area. Each of the four floor has a different major color theme: red on 4, blue on 3, green on2 and yellow on 1.

Hammamet Tunisia: This is Ilhem, Guest Relations representative in the Radisson Blu Hotel where I stayed while in the area. Her name means "Inspiration" and honors an Egyptian actress her parents admired before she was born.

Hammamet Tunisia: Red, red, everything is red in my room in the Radisson Blu Hotel where I stayed while in the area. The desk area has wired Internet, but I could never make it work. The WiFi did work most of the time, but with erratically restricted bandwidth which prevented VoIP and slowed my huge pages of photos.
