Rotorua - On the way back to Auckland I paused to explore the hot springs and this unique cave featuring carnivorous insects using bioluminescence to attract flying insects to their sticky web filaments hanging from their lair on the ceiling. The astounding Glow Worm Caves are a popular tourist attraction in Rotorua.
