Hello from beautiful Zurich! 

I made it to the first stop on my epic journey. Our member, Marcel Ehrbar met me at the airport! Today he is showing me his wonderful city and the surrounding countryside. Tomorrow it is off to Istanbul.

I've been having trouble with hotmail getting messages through to my postcard list. I think hotmail may be confusing my list of recipients as SPAM. I'm working on the problem. In the mean time continue to respond to

If you do not want to see these reports of my travel progress, by all means let me know and I'll pull your name from the postcard list. Not everyone on this list has specifically asked to be included: I have assumed from prior correspondence that they would want to hear from me and to follow my cyber experiment.

With all the trouble I've had with this list, it wouldn't hurt to let me know you actually got this and want to get more in the coming weeks.
