Hello from Ljubljana Slovenia, 

In Ljubljana Slovenia the train station is only about three blocks from the city center, so off I went, now about 9PM looking for a hotel. The first couple I checked were expensive and offered no discounts. Finally settling on a 3 star inn I dumped my stuff and set out the see the town on foot. At this hour nearly everything is closed in midweek, so back to the train station to check on tomorrow’s tickets to Zagreb and a cup of real McDonald’s coffee. When I left the train station some guy in a leather jacket stalked me, so using some counter-stalking and other fast footwork I dodged my way back to the safety of my hotel. Only then back in the hotel room did I realize I had been carrying everything valuable taken for the trip: camera, passport, travelers checks, cash and my favorite wool socks
